Rivals causes my entire PC to crash
I have had multiple GPU crashes playing this game. Yesterday, I crashed during a game and it caused my OS to fail to boot up/it told me it was not detecting my GPU. I had to open up my PC and reconnect my GPU and luckily it worked. Anyone else experience something similar?

It's kernel level anti-cheat, since it's not blocking cheats it makes you wonder what it's doing lol

It is highly unusual. I read online people have had both destroyed GPU and PSU crashes with this game.
Did you.....follow the warning directions when you launched the game? Nearly 100% of people don't read it even though it solves this issue.

What were the warning directions? The main warning I only saw is for flashing lights. I set my setting on low as possible for everything and installed latest drivers though for the game.
I don' t have this issue because I use Linux and can't play the game anymore. But if I could, I still wouldn't have that issue because Linux doesn't allow apps to destroy your PC.

What's your CPU.

I also played this game on my Linux laptop--- a day after playing my laptop failed to physically turn on. I had to open up the battery. And take it out and place it in again. It worked again (luckily). The game is 2/2 for messing with hardware for me.

your GPU is probably crooked and will die once some really dangerous game boots up

Only this game could cause that, every other game I have 0 problems. Looking at people's stories online, even people with new-gen GPUs get GPU crashed with this game and some have had their new GPU destroyed.
Years ago I had GTA5 crash the system and brick the bios on my motherboard (luckily my mobo had dual bios) so it's possible that this game is doing something funky. Initially, I would suspect hardware issues but as you said it's only this game that's giving you trouble.

Bios, Windows and GPU driver up to date?

Everything is up to date for me. I could not even launch the game until I updated my drivers and OS. The problem is the way the game interacts with the hardware, it is highly unusual. The fact that my monitor could not even properly read my GPU after the game crashing is something that should not happen under any game's circumstance. I am currently trying other GPU intensive games and everything is working fine again. For safety reasons, I may never install this game again. Very unusual way of interacting with hardware.
I would DDU the drivers and reinstall if I were you.

Had maybe 2 crashes in total after 230h of playtime. Then again I actually make sure to check out whether or not I have up to date drivers (not just for the GPU) and I dont click weird adult links...
