Problem as always is that from their side, they cant really see the difference between changing some sounds and changing a character model.
Also, if they are going to allow it in some cases.. you would need to be able to draw a line somewhere and I can guarantee that people are going to get in a grey area.
So its impossible to do that correctly. They need to either stop all of it or allow all of it.
And if they allow all of it, they will realise that they arent making it an esport anymore .. thats impossible at that point.
Blizzard do ban waves every few months.
Maybe netease is the same and just getting the data together now and will ban them all later
That is blatantly false. They can absolutely tell what files are modified and which aren't. Models and sounds are completely different file extensions, they 100% can see this. They may not know exactly what model or what sound you're using depending on how in-depth their signatures on files are, but they can tell exactly what was modified and how big the file is.
Technically they said all mods are.
However I doubt they will ban you for it; what is more likely is however you/if you get any mods to work even audio ones, they will probably just make you unable to use them anymore.
