Nexus Mod for game optimization

Will I get banned for using a nexus mod for optimizing my game. I have a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop and I can't really afford a good one any time soon. My game was stuttering quite a lot when there are a lot of enemies around and I saw videos in youtube which basically said "Higher FPS = More damage". I checked that people are not getting banned for using mods right now. But will I be banned in the future if i continue using this mod
