How come the hatred towards couples is just as bad or worse then overwatch 2? Why can so many people not deal with being single and taking it out on couples?

Basically i was surprised myself but in f2p team games, apparently ragers like league and ow2 scream like they get murdered irl every time their 1v6 "HEAL ME MORE YOU @!#!# USELESS HEALER" "Mantis is a 125 dps, 200 hp / 8 sec heal over time / 25 hp/s character. She's a meta character to top off, not healbot and you ate 4x of the 55 hp instants"

I have noticed that too whenever i play solo. People will even be toxic when you're svp going 25/2. I mean just look at the replies on my post beside 2 all of them are jus trolls. I think most people are ragers from ow2 and league as you mentioned. Or just very childish and miserable individuals.

I was playing Overwatch religiously for a while until a few months after OW2. I'm not familiar with this "toxic towards couples" thing.

The only experience i've had about someone having a relationship is when we were losing a game, one of my teammates said "My girlfriend said she'll give me a blowjob if we win".

We gotchu bro, and proceeded to steamroll the other team.

Other than that, i've never heard of couples having issues other than the mercy pocketing just her boyfriend.

The only time I ever gave someone a hard time about being a couple was because the healer was hard pocketing their partner.
Like, to the point it threw the match because if you stood in front of them, staring at them with 0 HP, they would side-step you to get an angle on their pocket instead.
And honestly even that might have been okay, like atleast Jeff and Groot have a nice synergy both with the team-up and being a healer and tank combo. And if the person being pocketed can hard carry then it can make up for 1 less healer for everyone else.
But it was a solid 4/12 K/D Hawkeye being pocketed. Please don't throw the game for the sake of your relationship, that's rude to the 4 other people in the match.
