WTF is happening to quick play?

Since 2 days i only have teams that are throwing quick plays like crazy. always 4 dps or people that are quitting after 1 minute and everyone just says "its quick play"? so nobody cares about winning anymore???

It's what I call the Solo Queuer's Experience. I see it in just about every team oriented game play out there.

be the change you want to see i main iron man but i can play hulk and i play a fairly good loki i pick up the slack when its needed having a great time with this game

Well yeah, quick play are filled with people that just got off work and is just looking to relax, of course they are not gonna care, if you want quality teammates play ranked

this is the standard quick play experience, not sure why you'd expect different. you signed up for chaos brother

it ties into EOMM, if u throw like 3 or 4 qm you are almost guaranteed to climb a couple games in Ranked. Seems to work. You also have to consider when u lose those 3 or 4 you need to exit the game for 2-3 hours then your next couple wins should be locked in.

yup the "iT's JuSt QuiCkPlay " crew gota luvem. braindead. there's no excuse. there is practice mode and doom mode. so garbage playeers just hide behind it. ill take timed penalties all day before i feed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ justification to there braindead playystyle.

Yeah, I agree.
Despite what people are saying on this thread, it HAS gotten worse.

"It's quickplay" is the go-to excuse for every asinine behaviour.
It wasn't this bad in December or in January.

They should make the avoid as teammate list infinite but have it reset every 30-60 days. If enough people avoided someone the game should warn the player about it and give them minor penalty in waiting times. Quickplay doesn't give them the right to waste other people's time and make their gaming experience less enjoyable. That's a self-centered way of thinking and it's called selfishness. Edit: then again this system will be abused by players getting pissed off at each other....

The 4 dps instant locks in quick match are such a plague that I just disconnect at the start when I see them now, to be frank. I'd rather eat the penalty than play with such people.

I do that often but if all others keep sticking to playing DPS then I threaten them of quitting healing if there's no other healer and tank. if the threat doesn't work I practise my spiderman skills lol

People just use the "it's just quickplay" excuse to justify playing poorly when in reality arcade is made for that, quickplay is the "less serious" mode of ranked, but that's not an excuse to essentially throw. It's not unreasonable to expect a baseline amount of effort and contribution in a team based game.

Don't get anyone's hopes up, now. You'll find low quality teammates no matter what mode you play, bots or humans

Actualy you can find better players in practice. I havent really been playing quick play for a month. Everytime I want to give it a try I insta regeret it, and Im remided of how aweful machmaking is.
