to hell with the stupid leaver penalites

not even kidding....this needs to stop being a thing or you need to dial back the penalties severely.

I had nothing but ♥♥♥♥ matches back to back to back yesterday and I left 2 of them and got a 15 minute penalty after 1 5 minute penalty even though none of these matches were consectutive.
I log out for the night...get in my first match after being out of the game for way more than 24 hours and once again, I'm put with a bunch of throwing toddlers who dont know how to play the match at all and are either trickling nonstop or refusing to keep track of the point/objective and forcing me to do it alone. There also saying stupid things in match and team chat ..neither of which I can silence or ignore b/c you think match chat is actually helpful.

I finally get frustrated after this doesn't stop during the second match of a 2/3/4 map and leave.

THIS IS QUICK MATCH..there is no score, there is no "ruining people's fun" (even though MY Fun was being ruined by playing with idiots) and I'm immediately replaced....there is no reason for this. Keep the damned penalties out of any mode but comp.
if people want to play like GARBAGE in QM (that's their right..fine). then you shouldn't force players to put up with it either. If they can throw, I can leave, fair is fair.

you're just creating a situation where people are going to go afk for the rest of the match if you dont stop punishing people for leaving.

Funny fact is that I often lag in their servers (not happening in other games), so that I am forced to play anyways to avoid possible penalties.
Build up a better network service before force people to stay.

no, the solution is to stop punishing people for leaving a non-competive mode with no stakes. If i dont want to play with morons b/c my friends aren't on, i shoudlnt be forced to put up with their crap. If they dont want people to leave, maybe they can think about playing better so people dont.

i hate it when i join a game that is already at its end.... i want a full match not a match where someone left.

if you left match because you mis a job in the team then take that job yourself. then you wil win. and guide the players KINDLY. most of the time i play healer in quick matches because of 5 dps and 1 tank.

i'm not the reason we lose. I'm diamond on my main in both tank and healer. try again.
also, if you back fill, you get the same XP and coins you'd gotten if you'd won...so you're fine.

My issue is that i'm sick of people treating QUick Match like a meme generator with zero repercussions but those of us who dont want to play like that are essentially punished. it's crap.

Also hey, that's a good point. I've not been penalized for some shmuck failing to load in before, but most of my pre-mades are not playing their games on their Nokia cellphones, so I've not had the pleasure of experiencing this.
How often does this happen for you?

Though I don't think networking and optimization is an intentional conspiracy to force people to build better PC's lol.

It's not me but regardless that's punishing a player for their system abilities. Forcing an upgrade, forcing you to spend money. That's a predatory practice, knowingly or not.

A proper report would get you banned for that actually. Review of the footage would show you are throwing. I don't report for speech violations because it's totally anti free speech but throwing is annoying, maybe not as much as the vote system though.
