I found it startling that he can constantly "ground" characters, preventing them from dashing or using traversal abilities of any kind; however, a necessary evil.

If Hulk shields his team at crucial moments he can be.
But I was mainly just pointing out that Hulk and Thing are very different, not that one is better or replaces the other. They both have their strengths and weaknesses

But I'm biased and think the hulk is ass because I like making plays

In the perfect team comp hulk is a better staller but thing is a better playmaker
