hes in 90% of my games and its always sony fan boys. convinced hes miles easier on controller to control than anything else
its not even anti dive. his uppercut is just broken. you can be a solid 6ft from enemies and facing 180 degress away from them and still hit for full dmg
Spider-Man is really fun to play and is largely dependent on the other team just not paying attention in order to function.
I say leave him as is but just gimp his Ultimate.
can start with his uppercut not dealing dmg a full 360 degrees around him.
this is why ive been stuck playing Scarlet witch... so many spider men, and i don't have aimbot, so i can't hit him any other way...
i just have to sit in the back, guarding the supports for when he swings in... jump in front of them, if he webs me use my fade... and suck him and hope i can kill him before he swings away at warp factor 9.9
he is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile... that alot of times my (Scarlet witches huge spread beam weapon) refuses to lock onto him

However, Spider-man and other DPS characters have this minor balancing issue where they are given mobility tools so they can dive in and do their job. BUT balancing being off they then are given multiple mobility tools or one tool that can be used repeatedly, on top of having amazing damage, so:
they go in, get a kill(like they are supposed to do) and then still have mobility to get away. THIS is the issue. Either make dive DPS have to commit to staying around by limiting mobility, meaning they risk getting killed after getting a kill themselves or take their damage away so they have to commit to staying around long enough to get a kill but also risk dying in the process.
Mind you, hard CC like Mantis sedate, Luna frost orb(Stun) and whatnot are on a long CD. DPS mobility tools are not. You mess up a CC tool, now you're screwed. DPS mess up their rotations? They have the tools to escape.
exactly... this is always the issue with "Dive" heros... they are always both too mobile and too lethal...
it should be one or the other, not both...
as for CC, most of the CC in this game is so hard to hit, its not an issue for people like spooder man... because he moves so fast and has such a skinny jank hitbox it rarely hits
sometimes his character model is way infront of where his hitbox is... its nuts
he hes not fun for the average QP support
if he wasnt such a OTP / so prominent in 90% of my games i probably wouldnt care as much but hes simply just ridiculous.
