Luna just freeze her after she dashes, now a free kill for you.
Mantis the same but you can't even miss from bad aim.
Rocket just dash away and melt her with 385 headshot DPS.
Jeff just go under and you are immune to CC and can chase her down for a free kill.
Adam just soul bond or heal through it and you out DPS her after.
Invisible Woman just push her away and sit near your shield and she can't do anything to you.
Loki just rune or teleport or stealth and she can't do anything to you.
Cloak and Dagger just stealth after her dash.
This is all good advice for regular Magik players, but the ones with the cancels I'm encountering now pretty much just instantly kill you on the first hit. It feels pretty unfair, especially because the Magik player is clearly getting the effect of moves they did not actually do. I don't feel unreasonable in thinking that if you cancel out a move to the point of not actually performing it, you shouldn't get the benefits.
Note that Magik can easily run you down so even a sleep/freeze doesn't escape, they can just keep chasing you.
You can just instant kill her, if you freeze headshot, headshot she's already dead.
Magik performs best with proper support, and that's when she can be relatively strong. So your job to counter her is to out-support her. If you don't, she's going to walk all over you and your team unless you're individually very good.
The difference between competent and lacking teams is night and day.
Specific characters that are really good at ruining Magik's day, in my experience, are Luna and Mantis. Both the freeze and sleep are devastating, and these are the supports that I die to the most, if ever. Once you realize how deliberate Magik's movements are you'll realize how predictable she can be, and that'll make hitting the freeze in particular so much easier.
If I see you out there and I dive you, give me your best. I want to get better too.
Look in the mirror lol. Supports need to be balanced too.
