How Does Overtime Work?
One of the most confusing parts of this game for me is Overtime. I don't understand it, and it feels like the game is never consistent with when it happens.

"They're winning, but you still have a chance" Round ends one second later, no OT.
"You'll have to keep fighting until we have a winner" as the enemy team just got wiped out, making an event less Overtime

But my biggest example comes from my LG today, a Convergence match where the enemy team had 4:06 in extra rounds versus my team's 1:00. We barely had control of the mission vehicle when Overtime hit, but we pushed it more that 87m during that time. Next round, with more than four minutes, the enemy team went less than 71m and barely moved the vehicle after their own Overtime.

So can someone explain exactly how this mechanic is supposed to work? I was completely shocked that we won that match, and my teammates were genuinely confused by my disbelief, as if the 3 minute disadvantage didn't mean anything.

At least one of the teammates have to stay in the highlighted rectangle area of the vehicle/point.
opposing team has at least 1 person on the point when time reaches zero.

It's that simple? I've heard that the timer can go down even if someone is on point, but I'm really questioning that after tonight.

Some time tomorrow I'll look over the replay and post the code. I'm curious to see how the other team managed their four minutes, anyway. After getting our vehicle we almost always had two people in the zone at a minimum.
