why are healers so angry?

I think it's because you feel distant from team success or failure. Winning just feels like something that happens, losing feels like it's due to your team. If you're a DPS, it's easy to say "Well we lost because I missed all of my shots and in retrospect I don't think Hela was a good choice anyway. If you're a support, there are a lot of games where you totally did your job fine and it didn't help.

How are you asking for heals? I've never had issues with people asking. Hell, I generally want them to use it so I can figure out who I should prioritize if the people I'm with aren't really doing much.

Its become a problem in ranked since the QM community started trying comp. Now we got normies trying to get kills as tanks and healers instead of their actual job.

Healer is just there along for the ride.
Unless you're me.

Good players can do alot on a healer.
If team is good pick: Invis, Cloak, Rocket.
If team is bad pick: Mantis, Adam, Jeff(IF you have 3 healers and want to DPS)
and then you can play Luna or Loki regardless of the situation

Easy checklist for if your healer has a reason to be angry:

- You didn't kill the Black Panther rampaging in your spawn room
- You are on the other side of the map from them and aren't running towards them when you hit the "need healing button" (exemption: you're a tank standing on the objective, then they will come to you)
- There is a Storm, a Venom, a Spider-Man and/or a Human Torch between them and you (protip: if your healer dies, they can't heal you)
- You have less kills than they do
- You ran ahead of the objective in a Convoy map
- The enemy Spider-Man has zero deaths
- You are a Magneto, Mr Fantastic, Thing, Storm, Groot, Namor or Peni not using your abilities to shield your healers
- They just ate a Scarlet Witch Ultimate you totally could have prevented
- There is an enemy Iron Man alive on the map
- Nobody on the team has a team up bonus

If none of the above applies, I have no idea why they're unhappy. Must be that time of the month (rent day).

Probably because the noise when spammed is jarring and interrupts their train of thought or you're not paying attention to what they're dealing with, there's also the possibility that they just got out of a game where their teammates spammed them repeatedly and then called them bad despite their best attempts.

Honestly could be any number of things, but usually freaking out over pings is a sign they were just harassed the previous game and they're still tilted from it.

i'm a main healer usually i play jeff i can heal everyone perfect fine BUT there are people who like to hide themselfs inside a closed off room or behind a wall or wherever i can not see them and then are repeatly ask me for heals. buddy... i can not heal trough walls. i can not see you. my allys are fighting and if i come to you or I only healer left wil die or the rest of your team wil die if i only heal you because you are to far away from the group.

a list of what most healers dont like:
- standing behind the healer and ask for heals, please... stand in frond of me so i can heal YOU and the WHOLE party in 1 hit. healers like to see what is happening to all members and if they have to turn around special for you so they cant see the rest of the party they gonna be annoyed.
- walking in circles or like a chicken without a head when asking for heals when you next to me. I... CAN... NOT... HIT..... YOU... like that! stand flarking stil for 1 moment please it goes way faster.
- you are hiding behind a wall... if i can not see you i can not heal you. i can not heal trough walls. please alwayse make eye contact with your healer.
- groot... yes... groot walls are not alwayse smart. groot or someone ells ask for healing but groot places somehow his wall between me and the one that need healing. buddy...
- gankers, your healer is currently not available please for the love of your healers help them out, kill the ganker so healer can heal the party again. or search a healing kit somewhere els. we are playing or own little game of cat and mouse in almost every match. and in between that we also need to heal all allies in between the little mini games.
- you are an air unit or flyer who did not ping you needed heals. we can not alwayse see you but we can sometimes help you.
- you used your mic to ask healing. BRO i dont know who that voice is. are you spiderman? or the venum?

What healers do like:
- stand in frond if the healer. if you need healing. and if able.
- stand in sight of the healer if you want support. and ask with a ping not in text chat.
- dont spam i need healing 3 times in a row. wait a little.
- guard your healer if healer has a fighting game of their own.
- say thanks ping is alwayse nice to hear~ then other healers know that you are full hp.
- if you think you are going to die and ping healing go away from line of fire, but stay in line of sight of your healers. because not all healers can heal nonstop when a punisher gun is full fire on you.
- if you are a flyer or air unit please PING if you need hp. jeff can reach you easly but i can not alwayse look up because then i can not see the rest of the party.
- dont use mic to ask healing. use pings then we see where you are and WHO you are.

most of the time healers get all the blaime when something goes wrong. it is always yea i did not got healing he said when was in a closed off room with iron fist or kept standing in frond of punishers auto gun.

we get mad because if you're in sight and we can heal you, we do. Or sometimes literally actively healing. We don't tell you need dps, and if we do - yall get mad

comes down to WE WANT TO HEAL YOU that is why we're on support and when you ask for heals, it's likely you're out of LOS. Be mindful of positioning, if you're spiderman or venom, find a health pack - you aint ever getting healed.

I don't mind when people ping for heals - helps me see things sometimes in the midst of everything that's happening, especially if I'm solo healing (actually kind of fun to do).

in my case if i get annoyed or worse angry its cause i have to 20x pull my weight just to brake even i can forget about winning that match

since im a Mantis main im literally trying to flex and do all the roles at the same time

Healing and buffing
Mild DPS or getting a cheeky head shot to either finish off or to recharge my heal, buff usage
tank with my ultimate
Disrupt with my sleep bombs to either save myself or the tank getting pined down by the wolverine again

but what really gets under my skin is when say in comp i have a arrogant ego filled dps that instead of pinging to tell me they need healing they just scream slurs and unpleasantness down the mic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at me to heal them since they don't ping i don't know where they are until i turn around and they are right behind me ....ya know you could have just walked in front of me and i would given you heals but nope you expect me to have review mirrors or something

and the stress is only getting worse now since the introduction of the torch and the thing its OH SO MUCH fun being trapped in spawn by two tanks that i can't sleep or being denied access to keep up with my team and have to take a different route cause the touch is setting my path on fire literally which leads to my team getting angry at me cause they are not getting their usual dosage of heal bot

It's always the guy around a corner, in a building, and up a set of stairs asking for healing. Buddy ain't no way my heals are bouncing to you. I also hate when flyers are behind me asking for healing. You're not only behind me but also in the air. Stay in front of me and use the same obstacle I am for cover.

We cant heal what we cant see.
