game ruined by human torch

by adding in an AOE (area of effect) DOT (damage overtime) character you've literally ruined the balance of this game for good. you either have to nerf this character into oblivion or make other characters resistant to his damage.
this is the beginning of the end of this game. there is no coming back from this addition.

It may have slightly too big area of effect, as it can cover almost entire objective sites. That's only thing I'd nerf about it.

the dps has to be reduced too.
it had to be mega nerfed to the point people barely want to play human torch. because the mechanics are, right now, stupid.

I think its just because people dont know how to play against him yet. then again people dont know how to play AS him yet so we will see in about a month how broken he really is

ya people generally suck at killing air heroes. storm is the best example. Give it 2,3 weeks so people get to know him THEN balance. Cant nerf everything into the ground when people dont know the champs.

It's an AOE DOT that REQUIRES setup for the equvilant of C&D Ult damage. It's not that great. Easily telegraphed and Human Torch has to not be focusing the enemy in order to take full advantage of it. It's fine.

I like him. Unless you’ve proper grinder the character, I don’t think people know how to work him to his full potential.
I certainly have no clue. But I find it easy to take them down.

He is considered "C tier" in general and "bottom B tier" in some maps in high rank matches. Just so you know.

I'm curious to what your playtime for this game to be making claims like this. He seems rather easy to knock out from what I've seen. He's also very new, meaning people probably haven't adjusted enough yet to know how to deal with him. They're just complaining because they simply get killed by him, which is not a valid reason by itself to justify a nerf.

No, no character should be nerfed into the ground. This is clearly a bias conversation if you even consider that and you need to be out right ignored for comments like this.

Human Torch is the worst character in the game. With Storm he is viable only bc of the teamup in lobbies where you need to carry another player.

I really dislike him. Whether he's good or bad, he's extremely unpleasant to fight into. I think he should probably be redesigned altogether. Creating damage floor fields is sort of a cancerous mechanic that should not be in the game except for ultimates.

LOL there is already multiple counters in the game. if you wanna nerf him like how you say then simple delete him from the game. what you say is like take luna snow and remove her healing. you think thats fun to play as a healer?

and i dont think you know how dificult it is to lay down a big area to burn. in most maps any stairs or rubble or differend elivation can already counter and destroy his lava bombs. they simply disapear and torch loses a cast. play on a stairs and torch cant do anything against your team LOL.

torch counters:
- ally partymembers who does not heal their torch yes this is their main counter.
- ANY air unit. spiderman, torch, ironman, storm
- punisher (but punisher also is countered by torch if torch is smart.)
- wolverine jump and hug him.
- any unit that can trow a stun to bring torch down
- any range unit, hela, hawkeye, jeff, loki
- scarlet witch is the number one stalker for ANY unit.
(pick scarlet witch and you can counter anything)

(3x loki can heal trough the ultimate of torch and trough any damage of him. so you know.)
