Season 1.5 update completely broke the game for me

I have never had a single issue with this game from the day of release until season 1.5 update release. Not a single crash, no frame drop issues, nothing at all. Since downloading the update, I literally cannot play the game. Started out with about an hour of play, then a full pc crash, then about 30 minutes of play before the crash. Now, I cant even make it far enough to start matchmaking or even see the main menu sometimes before my pc crashes completely. My hardware is more than capable of running the game at a high level, and I have tried every fix I can think of to no avail. Any one else having theses issues since the new patch?

I don't have any crashes, but the game is unplayable too - sometimes, I load into the game when it's almost over. FPS is unbearable now, had like stable 100 with frame gen before the update. Turning frame gen off fixes incredibly long loading times but lower my fps significantly. And they still haven't said anything about the fix or something like that...

I've been running at a stable 144 frame cap with no issues on that end ever, which is why I'm so confused now. Extremely frustrating because the game is so fun and I really wanted to dive in with the new characters
