PC Crash on RIvals start-up

How many others have had consistent issues of Rivals crashing on start-up? I cannot get past around 3% of Shaders Compiling before my PC completely freezes up or will restart on its own. CPU and GPU drivers are up-to-date and my PC was built and has worked fairly well since the Summer (except some "old-pc" storage drives being used). I see my CPU utilization goes up to 100% before my PC ultimately freezes up or black screens into a restart. I have tried some fixes (with no luck) but would like to hear if any other people have found any solutions or even have this problem. Thanks. Love the game but can't even play. I have played a bit (hit diamond) but the game won't even load up anymore. Pls help.

Wanted to also add that I have gotten the game to work in the past by restarting but it appears it will not load up at all anymore. When it did work I had like zero crashes in-game once the game loaded up but have had consistent start-up issues.

Check for the latest update for the game
Stop overclock
Enable game mode
Update GPU driver
End unnecessary apps
Check virus and antivirus

What CPU do you have? Intel 13/14th gen have some problems when compiling shaders on UE5 games. And you can't fix it, the CPU is burnt, you have to RMA it.

used to happen to me about 50% of the time i launched it
changed my overclock from 5.2ghz to 5.1ghz, no crash for weeks

cant say for certain thats your problem, but if you have an overclock running it probably is - unfortunately compiling shaders is one of the most cpu intensive things gamers do and cranks all cores to 100% usage immediately so the slightest problem = crash

im having the same issue, i can load in and sit in the game for like 30 seconds then my laptop resets. I have done everything I can find to do and none of it has helped. Im lost.
