The human torch is shockingly overrated

title. how is this character "op" and "banned in every high elo match" when he is dead half the game if the enemy team has hela or punisher with mediocre accuracy??? not to even mention his blazing blast doesn't even create a flame field half the time, and even when it does the damage is pathetic and the flame fields refuse to connect properly when one of them is 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000001 milimeters higher or lower in relation to the others?

because his team up with storm is op he can extend storms ult duration

Because a good one plays like an assassin.
You can kill a 250 HP character with 2 right clicks, waiting a fraction of a moment, then diving onto the fire fields to detonate them to kill the 250 Hp character. And if they do live, they'll be such low HP 1 primary attack kills.

C: if you want to play an assassin, phylocke is better at that. how are you supposed to play an assassin playstyle without invisibility and a dash? (also im not a phylocke main I swear)

never seen him banned in celestial3, about 20 games played since season1.5 and 2 of those games banned Thing while 0 banned Torch

i don't believe hes overrated, i believe everyone knows hes pretty bad, but hes new, so hes gonna get picked

Because most people don't know how to play him. They spam primary attacks from low orbit and don't make use of his right click+E to control space.
