Loki I am just blasting them with a 3 clone volley and one volley forces them to retreat and 3 usually kills them. They don't get healed as often by healers because they are harder to track so they are easier to kill generally; especially johnny and storm who don't have the escape that Iron Man does.
OP you say you don't want counter hero picks but like, if you want to climb in ranks you will want to learn to swap heroes from time to time.
General gameplay tips are move with cover not out far from walls and in the open; attack back with ranged attacks when you can because they have a harder time getting healed; use stuns/grabs/etc to lock them down to earth.

Ok, let's not belabor the obvious - you are not going to freeze a flier with a working brain cell in their head, ever. It's a very slow projectile.
but there's some really easy counters, Hitscan + Ironman.
Ironman hard counters.
Just hit him with the uni-beam (especially now that its buffed) and torch just falls apart.
Do be careful though, they'll get wise to you and try to position closer. You don't want to be up close since torch's attack is like a shotgun.
