Human Torch Is Broken
He needs to be nerfed, this guy is super annoying and there isnt much counter

He is not that broken, you're just bad. Skill issue, just learn how to target him with better aim.

I do agree there isnt many good counters for him. he is able to stay way above everyone else far out of range of most heros and still do an annoying amount of damage. I think lowering his max range to make him have to actually stay in a fighting distance of everyone else could really help out.

yes this... his attacks should get weaker the longer they have to travel.. i mean, 2nd law of thermodynamics!!!! Atm they are like a tiny red dot on the screen in the air raining insane damage
They just need to nerf this guy hard or its going to be all torch meta

In a game about standing on objectives they added a guy with ranged aoe damage that can cover the entire objective
In a class supposed to be balanced around low hp they gave him a team up that generates extra hp
In a meta dominated by Storm they gave him the ability to buff storm

Hitscan characters are the counter to flying characters.

They suffer the most from effective range fall-off. There are few true hitscan attacks. Hitscan characters tend to be bad aside from harassing evasive flyers. A flyer can be healer pocketed, outpacing any damage output from a single hitscan. A flyer can peek around corners for safe poking at the hitscan.

We need more long-range CC to bring them down, really; all we have is Pen sniping them down with predicted webbing every 4 seconds.

exactly, this guy is single handedly ruining the game, making the whole thing about shooting some guy high in the sky while getting nothing done for the objectives.. he truely needs to be 1-2 shots dead or something nerf this guy!!!
I played a bunch of games against him tonight and he wasn't much of a problem, if anything the newly buffed Spiderman seems much more dangerous. Heck, I took him out a bunch of times as Squirrel Girl and that requires you to account for gravity on your shots, if you have a projectile that travels straight it should be much easier.

tbh i think the torch is pretty fine gamewise, just that he is way too slow.

I dont feel like i am playing Human Torch from the movies i so much loved.
I feel like I a am playing human torch on a wheelchair.

Bro, Torch is literally one of the fastest guys out there, nearly as fast as the silver surfer and they make him a snail? And then they release Prof. X later and give him a speedy wheelchair and we be like -_____-
