New update crashes the game randomly

after installing the new update, I've had random crashes in matches that the game seems to believe as a GPU fault, but I find that hard to believe because I have 180+ hours, not one crash until this update.
I am seeing some info that it might be an Nvidia driver issue (I have a 4070 Ti Super, running game ready driver ver. 572.47 at the time of writing this) but I find that hard to believe because like I said, 180+ hours and 99% of that was with my desktop and laptop that both have Nvidia GPUs.

anyone else having this happen? or having issues with Marvel Rivals and this Nvidia driver specifically?

Edit: still crashes on the latest Nvidia drivers, even though that's likely not the problem.

Not having crashes but since the update, I have not been able to load into matches at all. I can boot up the game perfectly fine and it's a lot faster than it was prior, but I literally can not load into a match at all and there has been multiple reports of this since the update went live and the devs have not commented on it at all. :(

After the update my game has been unplayable laggy. i have 130 hours in the game and ive never had a problem like this before.

This might or might not help someone, but I had GPU crashes and black screen issues after installing those latest nvidia drivers, so I had to revert back to older version and things seemed to work normally again. I also got my first ever MR crash with those drivers before game had even started properly.

I heard the 560.XX drivers are a potential fix. I also own a 4070 Super RTX and am experiencing the same issue suddenly but havent had an issue all week up until just recently

I am running a 4070 Ti and have never had the game crash on me before but since the update came out I have crashed 3 times. I am on 572.16 of the Nvidia drivers

same with rtx4050 laptop already have 300+ hr in game but after this update it randomly crashes everyday , and a pop-up shows up say unreal engine 5 unexpected or smthg and the game crashes

I've had this exact same issue, over a hundred hours of gameplay and ive never crashed, i updated today and crashed twice.

i had to go to the nvidia website, find the right drivers (just the one from last week) and then had to manually install it because windows didn't let me roll back. Will update if i don't crash again.

Yeah got the same issues, have a 4070 ti, with driver version 566.36. Crashed 3 times in the only 2 games i tried playing since the update.

For me it's even worse, since the update my computer has BOTD when I try to play the game

i also get random BOTDs. i have clean installed nvidia drivers, ran multiple scans for faulty hardware, tried limiting or unlimiting shader cache, nothing works. some games i can play to the end, some i just crash randomly. sometimes closer to start of the round, sometimes closer to the end. its driving me crazy. the devs seem to be incompetent to insane levels.

Same problem here. People have been having this issue since launch but it seems to come and go randomly.

I'm in the same boat as you, no issues at all since launch until this most recent season 1.5 update. Running RTX 2080, had first crash after the update, updated my gpu drivers, continues to crash. Tried other recommendations like TAUU and low graphics, no dice.

Fingers crossed Net Ease gets it figured out, wonder if they can bring back those 2-300 people they let go...

The only time in the past that the game crashed was when Dr Strange open ups a portal close to me, now it's random, i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it, it's unplayable. I will uninstall it, i can't bear having to relog everytime the game because it randomly crash whenever it pleases. Sad because i payed for the battlepass, but i kinda deserve it because after a few patches they didn't fix the Dr Strange portal problem and I did pay it knowing that, what I didn't know it's that the game would be unplayable after that, i didn't want to, but my mental sanity is running thin with these problems.

I've had non-stop crashing today. It's 100% the game, and the latest update. I've updated the NVIDIA drivers, crashes. Rolled back the drivers to 556, still crashes. No consistency on when, or how it crashes. It happened similarly to me after the start of the season. And when I say, crash. It's a full system restart. Black screen, restart. (or and it's just not steam, tried on epic, same thing)

No temp issues. Everything is nice and cool. I can play other CPU/GPU intensive games without problems.
