Post 1.5 Update stuttering

Despite the settings being the same and altering them every which way, approximately every 19 seconds there's a stutter/microfreeze. Not only this, but I realized looking feels oddly slower. I'm wondering what they might have changed in the game to make it act like this after they implemented the new changes.

I had the same issue. Full on stuttering every 15-19 seconds, no exceptions. Tried tons of different settings in marvel with no luck, even update Nvidia drivers.

Observations:
* Compiling shaders takes 3-4x more time than before
* Stuttering happens in all parts of the game, even in the main menu.

MY SOLUTION (Fixed my stuttering completely).
After disabling the software MalwareBytes Anti Malware and letting windows run Windows Defender instead, its completely gone. No more stuttering.

MY GUESS:
There's something getting scanned here thats keep going over and over every X intervall.

I FIXED IT!!!!!!! Ok i did a lot of tinkering. I disabled all antivirus for game, but it still didnt work. I then went into BIOS and disabled NX mode. Rival up yurrrr

Yea it's just not working right, it seems like they keep teleporting past my moves and it's annoying

Same here too. Every so many seconds it just stutters, gets me killed, then back to normal.

Im seeing this on a 3080ti and 5950x ive been going insane, changing everything. Constant microstuttering no matter settings, driver, even reconfiged monitor and vrr, ALWAYS STUTTERS

I just updated the game, fired it up, and got the exact same issue, I timed it in the training grounds and it happens about every 18-20 second, and freezes for less than a second, but still pretty uncomfortable, and enough time for everything to have changed. I play on Arch Linux with GE-Proton9-26, I have a Ryzen 7 2700X and an RX 6700XT with 32GB of RAM, and the game was working perfectly fine before the update. Everytime it stutters my GPU usage (which, for me, usually hovers at around 75-100%) dips all the way to zero. No antivirus (because Linux). Just updated and rebooted, so my system is up-to-date.

It's know issue too, check other topics. Some people said disabling anti-virus removed stuttering from game, so maybe this is somehow connected.

yeah getting the exact same thing too, literally unplayable.

this happens after every big patch they do and suddenly works after a few weeks etc.

Yup update messed it up. Now every 20 second I get a stutter never had an issue once with performance and I'm on 4090 FE. No dip or lag issues it just simply stutters once but then resumes.

I'm guessing the launcher is attempting to write to that file. It fails. Because antivirus are thinking its a threat. And the stuttering is caused by it attempting to keep trying to write to that file.

yeah its likely anti virus whenever I try to launch it it pops up with a warning

it sucks I dont just wanna turn it off but this is miserable with dive chars
