Post 1.5 Update stuttering
Despite the settings being the same and altering them every which way, approximately every 19 seconds there's a stutter/microfreeze. Not only this, but I realized looking feels oddly slower. I'm wondering what they might have changed in the game to make it act like this after they implemented the new changes.

update: i got it to work by disabling antivirus and adding MR files to my exceptions list. simply disabling the antivirus wasn't enough. once i added the files to the exceptions the stutter stopped.

not ideal but at least there's a workaround until they hopefully fix this
have they acknowledged this issue yet?

I just upgrade my computer today new motherboard, Ryzen 7 CPU and most importantly updated my ram to 32gb....

Open task manager and notice that this game is taking 15gb of ram to run. So chances are that computer that only have 16gb are now obsolete for this game after this patch :(.

I hope they can fix that as it was working just fine before the patch on 16gb of ram and Intel i5 processor.

In case anyone is wondering, this upgrade cost $554 total buying parts at micro center.

I hope this helps you too.

Edit: Just don't forget to re-enable these settings when you are done playing. ;)
THIS WORKED THANKSSS

HOLY HELL BEEN TRYING EVERYTHING AND THIS WORKED

Buddy, just logged in to thank you for this, I don't know why I never thought about it but this solved my issue (at least in Practice Range, cause before I couldn't even play there) will do more tests but it looks like it's going in the right direction

I use Norton and am having this exact problem. I don't feel comfortable turning off antivirus to fix this. Don't like the idea of giving Net Ease kernel level access to my PC

Yall are really disabling your antivirus and malware protection to run a chinese game LOL

You don't think there's anything very suspicious about that?!

It's interesting how so many are ignorant to the fact that the chinese government hates americans and american allies and this company is obligated to provide the chinese government access to the game files, so they can tamper with the game files whenever they feel like it.

China and Russia governments are the two main countries hacking americans and american allies the most, hacking the american government left and right , should think about that.

You should NEVER have to disable your antivirus/malware protection to run a game period.

Exception only being if this were a private server and this is obviously not a private server.

People are really so addicted they're leaving their systems completely vulnerable just to get their drug fix, this is sad to watch but fascinating at the same time, curious to see what happens next.

Looks to be a powershell script running that's pulling CPU data every 20 seconds, I would hope that this is a testing bench mark tool used in house that got bundled into the update/release code accidentally, I hope. I would also hope it's hot fixed sooner rather than later..

I wouldn't be keen on renaming or removing powershell from your system32 as whilst it might fix this issue I suspect it'll end up causing your windows os further issues down the line.

Also the anti-virus is while annoying doing the right thing by flagging powershell being used and removing the game files again as annoying as that is... this game shouldn't be needing kernel level access
This worked perfectly. I'm using GE-Proton9-25.
