the patch notes reference DLSS 4 but the .dll's still are old version (3.5)
The patch notes reference dlss 4 but the .dll's in the game folder still are the old version (3.5), am I missing something? I know we can use the NVIDIA app to force the different models but I was just wondering what was up.

I noticed the same, looks like a bug.
Moreover you cannot override it with Nvidia app any more.
Devs updated only frame gen, bare minimum. Also people mentioned that Intel XeSS is gone for the game, DLLs are still there but you cannot choose it in game settings.

DLSS implementation uses mixed DLLs. This is first game that I see do this.

Game DLLs:
DLSS Scaling(CNN model): nvngx_dlss.dll -> 3.5.10
Ray reconstruction?: nvngx_dlssd.dll -> 3.7 (not used?)
Frame gen: nvngx_dlssg.dll -> 310.1 (DLSS4)

Streamline / Reflex: 2.7.2. (latest)

You can swap SuperResolution .dll file with J preset which is new transformer. Nvidia app works fine, but dlss swapper can't do it because app is not white listed like Nvidia one.

I don't want to swap files manually or with DLSS Swapper, since it could potentially get you banned.

Nvidia says J profile is for ray reconstruction.

Both J and K are new transformers models. Preset K is the newest realeased but not available in nvidia app yet. The only way to force K preset in the games as far as i know is Nvidia Inspector 2.4.2.3 or newer version. In case of Marvel Rivals Dlss swapper does not work. It will change files to 310.2.1.0 .dll but it will not work in the game like it should. The only way that works for me is nvidia app which was probably whitelisted by devs.
Thanks I will override with "Latest" in Nvidia app and see how it works.
I went back to DLSS 3.5 included in a game, somehow I get more FPS on low settings + performance DLSS and more stable image(less DLSS artefacts on foliage).
Did anyone notice you can't override DLSS to DLLS 4 in Nvidia App anymore?
It says Marvel Rivals does not support this feature.

I think Nvidia blocks it for online games like COD to prevent auto banning, but it used to work with Rivals. I wanted to use it since it gives better image quality.

Rival's Devs can even patch the game correctly ffs.
