New Update Wont update

after several restarts, uninstalls and reinstalls on several different drives, this new marvel rivals update refuses to download past 99%. the time remaining on download always skyrockets by days and days until it goes blank and HOURS will go by and the game wont finish updating. ONLY MARVEL RIVALS DOES THIS. i had several other games to updates and 1 new one to download and they went smooth as butter.

I'm unable to complete the update also, it's stuck at "Validating 0%"

it could be that this unoptomized mess is FORCING us to have far far more disk space than it NEEDS to download. rather than do a simple update games like this and fortnite will basically duplicate the games file size during an update, then return to normal at the end. so my C drive has enough space to hold the game, just not enough to hold it twice. and as the game gets updated more this problem will only get worse.

this is a terrible way to update videogames and should be stopped.

I don't think that's in my case as I have 1,1 TB free space left
I fixed with a reinstall

i had to make more space on my drive. at LEAST enough space to hold DOUBLE the game file size. its stupid. seems to be an unreal engine 5 thing.
