Groot shouldn’t exist. A rework is necessary.

Groot, that aberrant beast covered in branches that can only say one phrase. That tree, constantly irritated, twerking while planting roots. That blasphemous character shouldn’t exist.

Its roots are simply TOO strong, making it impossible to play the game in a healthy way: they trap characters, disrupt healing, block visibility, and are hard to break.

This character needs a rework NOW.

Unfortunately, all of the “problems” you mentioned are by design, and what makes him a good character. His roots are his main gimmick and what allows him to support his team, as his combat abilities are mediocre at best.

What annoys me so much about Groot is that his walls don't just block enemy damage, but your own damage too. So many times I'm shooting someone and I'm about to kill them only for my own Groot to save them by putting a stupid wall in front of me when I least expect it.

Lmao I agree. Groot is SO annoying that makes everything more difficult. I don't know if there's actually someone who can counter him?

Also the matches where we have Groot vs Groot are the most annoying ones. You're literally trapped between walls from your own team and the enemy ones.

He's pretty funny tho. I wouldn't delete him from the game but maybe limiting a bit more the walls thing? I dunno.

Players should be allowed to go through Groot's green wall at the cost of being heavily slowed. The Iron Wall I can see not being passable because of how sturdy it is, but the Green wall is not only the most spammed, but also now has an 18 meter cast range making it even more frustrating to deal with.

I don't like him either, but he only becomes a real issue if both sides use Groot and you're fighting around a bottleneck. Easiest solution is for one of the Groots to switch to another tank.

Shoot the walls, they benefit him more than they hurt you. A good Groot isn't going to put the iron wall in the middle of everything because that's his source of health, so if you see the iron wall, break it to make him easier to take down.
