Faulty Ban?

Hello, i'm here to see if someone can give me more info on this.
A friend of mine i played with like, every game, just got banned a few days ago for "cheating" and "prohibided conduct" but, the wildest thing he's ever said is ez and he wouldn't even cheat on a solo game.
Got him quite down and sad because he did farm the season pass daily and now it's all gone and the appeals he has done to the marvel rivals team doesn't clear up anything.

Closest thing we guessed is maybe some other program flagged it while playing? But we're always playing other games in between matches and it hans't happened to me.

Anyone has some way to fix it?

Send a few of your replay codes that you played games with him then, let the community judge.

Four replays i saw that wasn't vs AI, cause that's mostly what we played too
Don't have the comp games, cause we just stopped playing after hitting g3 and just farmed battle pass

The only guess we had is that maybe some other steam game we were playing at the same time may have flagged it as a 3rd party cheat, but i play the exact same too and didn't happen so me so we ruled it out, but we're not sure
Game was Limbus company, elden ring or battle of polytopia if it helps

i have a friend that used the venom dumpy mod; he was banned, and customer support offered him no leeway

Steam forums will have no effect.

Don't use mods. Don't cheat. It's not rocket science but I guess it needs to be spelled out for you kids in crayon these days since you cant be bothered to use common sense.

If he shares his system/account with anyone, they might have cheated on it. Possible if he's still young and has a sibling around, for instance, or a roommate.
