His combo really doesnt take that much skill. Not anymore than any other combo in this game. And unlike every other character that has to dive in and committee, if spiderman messes up, hes instantly on the other side of the map. Such skill!
As far as DPS? Widow, easily.
That's the best word for Spider-Man, Annoying. You go in do something til you ult but it's okay, as long as you have movement down you're probably not going to face punishment, It's to the point now where Anti-Dive Supports are only deterrents at best.
I can play 2 games have have Spider-Man to a competent level.
Honestly the hardest DPS is Black Panther mainly because BP is terrible.
A Spider-Man who botches combos and runs away over and over provides almost no value to a team. That's the kind of meme Spider-Man player you see in low ranks who goes like 9-2 in a game where 20 kills is average because they can't get anything done outside their ult. Just because you don't die doesn't mean you're useful as a DPS.
Good Spider-Man players in high rank have great skill. Aside from knowing combos, most of them also excel at 3d movement and are also excellent shots. You can interrupt or rescue someone from their combo and they'll still chase you down and kill you quite often, and they can fight outside their combo competently if they need to.
