Earning chrono tokens

Finished my dailies last night, had to wait 24 hours for 3 new challenges (makes sense)
Finished my challenges yesterday evening, have 24 more hours until I get more challenges (about 36 hours in total)
Why does it feel like they don't want us to play this game as much as possible?
Grinding ranked is fun but not gaining anything on the battlepass after playing for 8 hours in a day just because theres no challenges available feels so disheartening.

They get you more then enough time to earn enough to unlock everything thankfully on the battle pass. I'm working on completing the Wolverine section now, and I've completed all but two prior before it ( The Adam and Mech Spider Girl ones ).
