It happens in every rank. Just mute them off and focus in the gameplay or you will get tilted eventually.

I have yet to run into any toxic players yet. Maybe your doing something to antagonize them into being toxic perhaps?

to the ones saying hes instigating it, no hes not. the toxicity from the players in unbearable at times. so what im not the best player to grace the ranks or qp, but im reminded of the failure i am every game. the community is horrible

I've run into one group of people that were attacking me for not DPSing more on Rocket in the 260 hours of play time. Even then the worst thing they said is that one of them claimed to have reported me for throwing even though I was the best healer and had the most assists in the game.

It's a bit hard to judge without complete clarity as to what happened when it literally never happens to you. Context is needed...

Anything "competitive" becomes toxic. It's why some games avoid scoreboards. Give people less reason to talk ♥♥♥♥ just because they have 2 more kills. Which is literally something that happened. People don't need a lot to be jerks.

I turned voice chat after I got bombarded with the N word and told to off myself in my closet to start the new year. Been the best thing that has happened to me. Now I just log on and play some games and don't have to hear any toddlers while I'm gaming. It's great

That's one fight out of hundreds and people do generally like to leave out details about why it happens. I don't believe anything without adequate proof to back it up more or less. Not in this day and age when just about everything is considered toxic behavior, even if in reality, it's not even remotely toxic in the slightest.
