About the new patch notes support changes
I think we're going in the wrong direction. A change was definitely needed, but a total slow down on sup ults wasn't the way. Instead, decrease the cost of support ults but weaken the ult itself. The idea is to give the support ulting team a better chance to survive dmg ults, but not a total shutdown, or better yet, give support ults more utility beyond just shutting down enemy ults. A good pre-patch example is invisi girl ult + witch ult combo which dumps healing on SW while giving her the invis to avoid being CC'd. Unfortunately, the cost of support ults keep them from using them as utility. Decrease the actual healing of a IG ult while keeping the invis and you can keep providing that utility without a total risk of the team being whipped by some unstoppable dmg ult.

Supports should worry about keeping the team up on a micro per fight basis, but also concern themselves with building ult so they can both combo with damage and try to give their team a fight chance against damage.

On the damage ult side, a well positioned damage ult shouldn't be totally negated by a support panic button pressing their ult.

Of course, except for Adam. Poor Adam's ult is garb and needs something about it changed. An Adam player either needs to disengage from the fight and wait for his team to wipe then ult which is a garbage strategy to play and to play into or Adam needs to ult before his team gets wiped and that is no guarantee making the ult feel useless a good amount of the time and the player look bad with that strat.

support ulties were toxic for games,they got nerfed right
u can expect boosted support mains to drop 2 ranks after this patch
i think if you made the support ults weaker they wouldn't do their job as i think CnD's ult just barely does enough healing to stop starlord's ult(with one band of course)

I think it's perfect i'm very happy with these changes, like the guy said in video patchnote they don't want drawn out fights it's incredibly boring, it was hell with dagger /luna/ invisible woman/loki ults constantly ruining all fights
Think of this, a massive dive meta is about hit hit us and supports will not have their emergency buttons up often enough to counter it.
Hopefully this season people learn how to peel.

really needs to ground iron fist, he can fly better than anyone in game.

The advantage support ults give should be time to respond to enemy ults, not deny them completely. Like the example you gave, give your team time to shoot at the starlord, move behind cover, or expend CDs to protect the targets.
