Spiderman and black panther need complete reworks
I have played both char to an extended degree. The problem with both characters is they depend more on the skill of your opponents then that of the user of these characters. If your opposition has cracked aim and are coordinated they will obliterate you. If enemy team does not, you will farm their back line into frustration oblivion.

Majority of it has to do with the crazy movement speed these characters have that I don't think can ever be balanced for a pvp hero shooter.

I think they both need to be reworked more into brawlers. Slow them down significantly, bring their damage down a bit, but in return increase their survivabilty significantly. This would also be in keeping with their lore as they are not supposed to be these weird glass canon assassins in the source material.

i can kill both fairly easy or at least make them retreat with scarlet witch. MR is a chess match. wrong heroes equals death to equal skilled people.

But it's also not. I would say there are more characters that don't have direct counters compared to ones that do. Some char are playing chess while others aren't. Spider-Man is just poorly designed and it is unfortunate for one of the flagship characters of the IP.

I do agree that Spiderman is simply somewhat too fast. The Season 1.5 patch made him even faster than he was before (you can see Necros's videos on the subject for confirmation of this), it makes him nearly impossible to hit with abilities that don't auto-aim. I mean sure, I still hit him occasionally by aiming in his general direction, but especially if you're using a weapon that's not hitscan hitting him is just luck. You instead just have to focus on mitigating his damage, which is doable and prevents him from getting value outside of his ultimate, though it's still unfun to play against.

I think Black Panther is mostly fine though. He is actually hittable since his approaches are more linear.
I'd probably be fine with adding another character or two that makes Spidey's life a bit harder but otherwise I think he's actually fine besides a few minor things.

I dunno man more hard counters would just make spiderman unpickable. Makes far more sense to just rework him into something that is both fun to play with and against.

Keep Panther out of the Spiderman conversation.

I play this game a crazy amount. And I can say I seen Panther picked by players maybe 8 times.

If Panther is so unbalanced then everyone would be picking him every match. But no one is. Ever.

Every match though it is guaranteed 9 times out of 10 that both teams have both Cloak-Dagger and Scarlett Witch picked. Because they are dumb, cheap and unbalanced. Its like the same 2 guns in a FPS that everyone picks... I wonder why...

Everyone acting like Panther is soo good that the end of ever match he is taking up the MvP screen when really its the same fu-king 6 characters that do since the game came out.
If they're a problem, I just pick one of their counters and shut them down most, if not all of the rest of the match. That's why you can swap out characters mid match, to counter problems and remove them from the equation.

I never said they are overpowered. I have said they are poorly designed which can be in line with why you are not seeing many BP in your games.

I didnt say a hard counter. Doesnt have to shut him down. Just someone else you can swap to to make him easier to fight. I'd prefer that to changing the character people really enjoy into something they may not enjoy.
No, stop having terrible takes.

If he’s attacking someone then he’s probably not moving.

If you say so kiddo, next.
honestly i think spiderman should stay far away from a brawler playstyle but miles morales could be a more brawler esc spiderman
Characters aside. I have never in all the time I played this game ever met a spider man player that wasn't a POS. :steamfacepalm:

We already have a brawler Spider-Man— he’s called Venom.
I just think its funny spiderman is 5 stars and gets huge hitboxes and 1hit combos and widow is 4 stars with needle sized bullets and a single kick ability lol
