False ban for "suspicion" of cheating

Yesterday i launched rivals checked out the new event, threw the dice, inspected the new black widow skin, went to the toilet and came back to see that I have been banned for "suspicion of cheating". You can probably tell by me making this post that i dont think i have cheated. I am using a wooting keyboard so as far as i can tell that wasnt cheating unless that has changed recently. All scenarios are going through my head and the most logical one is that a hacker mass reported my account and now its been banned for a 100 years or that a streamer thought i cheated and asked a developper to perma ban me, but even that is a stretch. I really dont know what it could be, i dont have any suspicious software on my pc, i dont have cheat engines installed etc etc. I tried reaching out to support through email and discord but the only response i am getting is that to maintain fair play they hand out massive bans for everyone.

I spent over a hundred bucks on in game purchases so I feel like ive been punched in my stomach and there is nothing i can do about it it looks like. If anyone would be able to help it would be much appreciated! Thank you.

no and no. didnt have any weird software installed. i think its purely that i am pressing A and D at an inhumane speed and thats why they banned me

That means they have hard proof you cheated and they wont release the data to the cheater to optimise the cheat.

I did that too and you just get auto replies or someone responds but it doesnt look like they actually listen to what you have to say

Probably the same issue with cod where the game is too big so they have NPCs handle cases like this.
uhhh try requesting more details on the ban, It doesn't normally work.
I had a similar issue with getting shadow banned constantly in warzone 2.

yea i think its me pressing A and D at an normally inhumane speed. my keyboard lets me press them fast and i like to stand in front of my teammates in spawn and do it before the match start. I am starting to think thats why i got banned. but yea i only played against bots and pressing A and D isnt a real viable strategy in this game so its just a shame i got banned for something as silly as standing in front of my teammates to show how fast i can press A and D

The thing you keep missing here is that your 3rd party assist allows for you to do things faster than the developers intended. This is the start of that slippery slope toward legitimizing cheats, and most competitive game developers don't ever want to do that.

The correct answer is to never use any of them. No macros, no aim steady, even tracker overlays can convey advantages that other players don't have natively in-game.

On your next account, you'd do very well for yourself to avoid using any third-party assists of any kind.

Your literally wasting your time contacting support, they dont read anything you send them. Instead contact steam and tell them you got scammed.

Even asus software that comes with my motherboard has been known to cause bans (in other games) because of how it hooks into audio to control LEDs. I never installed it because I don't light up my computer like a christmas tree, but if people like doing that, I don't think its a hot take to say that shouldn't get you banned.

I'm not saying you advocate it, I'm just saying there are programs that seem innocuous that can cause trouble when a non technical user is playing a game.

Nah, you cheated for sure. I report anyone that does 180 instant turns to get head shots at characters they didn't know were there. Once could be luck, but two or three times? Aim bot.

its my keyboard that can press A and D really fast. you can view that however you want. but it doesnt give you a real advantage in a game like this so a bit annoying i got banned for that
