Fix Iron Fist
I'll probably get a lot of backlash for this, but I don't care at this point. He was my go to character that made the game fun for me and now they've taken him and stomped him into the dirt and then some. Yes some changes needed to happen, but everything all at once was way too much. The armor fall off. Fine. The slower attack speed. Fine. However, nerfing his overall damage as well as his ult damage and reducing his block time just makes him unreliable as a character. What they should have done was remove his ability to lock on when attacking, speed up the time it takes for him to fall when attacking in the air, and keeping the armor fall off and slower attack speed. Heck, you could throw in the ult damage reduced as well. I know he has the 1.7% damage buff, but it hardly does anything to deter tanks and dps. He needs to either be set back to his original status as well as having what I mentioned tacked on to him, or have a re-haul of his move set.

Those are some terrible Scarlets, how in 4 seconds of 50% movement speed free flight, does she not escape to safety, that is Drooling Witch, you are referring to the wrong enemy.

The fact is she has to get to a health pack or survive escaping back to her team to heal *every* time. She has tiny benefits to her kit that make her a good counter for Iron Fist and other divers. That's what her role is, so her kit benefits it. Iron Fist has his own walking healthpack, great mobility and a crazy target lock on. Bucky has overshields on his abilities and a grab. Magic has overshields and invincibility frames. Star Lord has invincibility frames and a fast reload. Spider-man's special kit is having the absolute best mobility in the game and an absolutely obscene aoe for his uppercut. And yet every time a diver main is begging for a buff for their character it's Wanda this and Bucky that and Namor's turrets are too strong. No ♥♥♥♥. Y'all just want to do a nice, free team kill on the enemy backlane with zero push back, and anything stopping you is overpowered and broken.
Agreed, his Damage is the only problem i have, to the point it's exhausting, fighting enemies feels like you Mining Wood blocks in minecraft without the proper gear 😕

I agree with you on some of this. Bucky is a perfectly fine character. Balanced, Good Damage, Reliable. Namor, same thing. Balanced, Good Damage, Reliable. The reason I say Scarlet is because her kit allows her to be a multitude of roles instead of what she is supposed to be set as. She can kill fliers easy due to her wisp form with chasing, then have no issue with attacking because of her range and homing capabilities. For tanks, She just needs to stay buy the healer and hold her attack while alternating her darts and stun. Flankers, get into the air above the flanker and hover while attacking. Most of the time the flanker will need to retreat and lose positioning. She is a very powerful character with strong damage, strong range, and a strong escape as well.

Can you give me some tips on how to work him now? Before I used to flank the sides, pick off stragglers, then target the healers. What should I do to adapt to the playstyle changes?
The difference is not his playstyle but how you use your skills.

You can still flank healers, just only when they are low life or by themselves (Don't chase rocket hes too fast)
Play next to the payload/tanks and kill the enemy tank that your team is focusing.

Use your Shift kick as a escape or as a Final Love Tap on someone whos low life (Healer or dps)

When you Charge your Fist by Right Clicking, Let the enemy shoot you and build up shield before you go and punch em to death. The extra shield really does help. Also This ability can be used in combination with your triple jump to jump out of combat at extreme speeds to heal.

Just remember, alot of the skills have animation delays so spamming the keys help.

What are some other ideas that you think would get him back up there, but make people stop complaining about him? When ever I look up marvel rivals online, the first things that pop are Iron Fist hate. Instead people complaining about him so much and getting the devs to nerf him why don't you take it into your own hands and learn hwo to adapt and beat him. It will make you a better player in the long run and teach you how to handle other unorthodox players. Some characters who I think really need changes are Scarlet Witch, Widow, and Moon Knight
People call the Iron Fist from Marvel's Rivals a lock-on character, when in fact it's closer to the Halo Energy Sword. It's a guided lunge, not a lock-on. This is actually why I've really enjoyed the character. I'm glad someone else thought the same. He feels a lot like you are using an energy sword lunge. I always use a sword any chance I get in Halo and can clearly see the comparison. I'll have to try implementing energy sword skills and styles and see how it turns out.

removing the lock on would make him outright unplayable. from what i can pick up it seems that you could be having some difficulties adapting to his new play style (not to be rude) i had the exact same issue at the start of season 1.5. a youtuber named "imwind" made a pretty solid guide on him covering the new way to play him so that might help.
