Fix Iron Fist

I'll probably get a lot of backlash for this, but I don't care at this point. He was my go to character that made the game fun for me and now they've taken him and stomped him into the dirt and then some. Yes some changes needed to happen, but everything all at once was way too much. The armor fall off. Fine. The slower attack speed. Fine. However, nerfing his overall damage as well as his ult damage and reducing his block time just makes him unreliable as a character. What they should have done was remove his ability to lock on when attacking, speed up the time it takes for him to fall when attacking in the air, and keeping the armor fall off and slower attack speed. Heck, you could throw in the ult damage reduced as well. I know he has the 1.7% damage buff, but it hardly does anything to deter tanks and dps. He needs to either be set back to his original status as well as having what I mentioned tacked on to him, or have a re-haul of his move set.

Sky Campers already have it easy enough. Now you want to take one of the characters that can get to them ability to do so away?

Only so they'd stop complaining and get him more nerfed than he already is

You're only invincible for 1 second. They reduced his block time. wont make a difference in a fight now because they wait for it to end

Scarlet Witch can do it for double the duration with free flight 50% bonus speed, with 2 stacks and half the cooldown, so not sure what you are complaining about, meanwhile she has auto aim for fast characters and right clicks to burst for high damage, with a CC to interrupt. Same with Cloak and Dagger but to your whole team or Loki.

When playing fliers, I always make sure to stay near the team, so that when theres a diver, the team is able to assist

It's always a diver main whining about Scarlet Witch. Go play her instead if you think she's so good. Oh right, she doesn't have an instant heal button that doubles her health before she dives tough enemies. Kits are balanced, and Wanda is not tangibly more spoiled than Iron Fist.

Here's the thing: Just like any character, divers start becoming more difficult to play as you climb higher and people know how to counter a one trick. But an Iron Fist engaging as part of a team, being properly pocketed, with Hulk shields or similar, can be incredibly effective and downright lethal. Game changing, in fact. Stop playing dive like you're 1v6ing the enemy team, communicate with your team and you literally won't die. I said this to a Magik player the other day and they were like "What do you mean I can't play my main unless I get certain teammates, and the other team don't play certain characters?" and it's like yes? If you want to play at high level that is, in fact, how it works. If your whole team are playing 1v6 games and the enemy team are playing 6v1 games, then the other team is going to win every time.

Idk man. There have been so many times the last few days especially where I mess him up as Rocket, of all things & he presses one button and he escapes or secures a kill and escapes for free. Even shooting him in the back doesn't matter.

Oh she doesn't need to dive, because she has 20 meter range auto aim, and right click doesn't have a range, so there's no need to such high HP in the first place, she does literally around the same damage as he does but she is auto aim, he just gets to dash to the enemies face, when it works, not auto aim. That instant heal button takes over 1.5 seconds to heal that much so not sure what you are talking about, and most or all of it will be gone by the time you reach the enemy.

Here's the thing: a diver will never be effective against a good strategist, every single one automatically wins in a 1 vs 1, and it shouldn't be a 1 vs 1, having more than 1 diver, is easy to counter, they even have DPS that are advantageous against dive, or tanks, more than 1 dive is a terrible option unless the enemy team is bad, 1 is good as a distraction, but not even a good one if they die in an instant, while the tanky ones besides a 100% head shot rate Venom aren't a threat so you can ignore them entirely in your face. I don't think any tournaments are going to feature dive characters.

Lmao??? Scarlet =/= Ironfist. Wth is this unhinged take? All she has is a wisp form that can be tracked and easily killed once she leaves it. Sure she may escape sometimes but I'd rather that then literally having an enemy be invincible then scurrying away somewhere to heal up in the corner of a room with shields. lmao

And you're right they aren't the same, she is better since she isn't a direct downgrade to 2 different characters, she at least has her own role.

Tacking on that her ult is an instant kill against most characters where iron fists has become hard to secure at least two.
