I still dont understand how my friend who has 8gb ram still manage to get 100+fps with lower ram and specs than mine. 32 GB minimum is certainly way too high, 16 gb ram maybe.
format your pc if you havent done it and clean it with some air to move the dust out. He probably doesnt have a bunch of junk apps stealing most of his pcs power or its just running better cause its clean brand new.
100% something is wrong with your pc and likely its best to go get it checked.
also what temp does your laptop run at? if above 95c how long has it been running that high?
theres alot that could play into why your pc is running so poorly (best bet take it to microcenter and ask them to help you) or do it yourself!
look into all of this example 1920x1080 on her laptop she gets 200fps+ when i increase it to 2k its closer to 150fps or 4k 80-120fps she often lowers her resolution in these games to increase fps and decrease heat.
a healthy temp is 75-80C while gaming if its higher than this try and get an external fan for your laptop or if you can yourself check the thermal paste (if you dont use liquid metal) and replace it. otherwise taking it into a store to get it done for you will be your best option.
Both me and my friend are using 1920x1080 no hdr, both 144 hz but I lowered it to 80 hz due to asus screen problems.
