Importance of healers

I'll be honest I generally don't like playing as a healer however I will play as one if there is no healer in the team. And sometimes two healers work great together, so I will be even a healer if there's only one healer.

How do you feel when you have a team where no one is a healer? Will you take up the mantle and pick a healer for the sake of the team? Or would you be selfish and pick what you want and ignore team cohesion?

I play as tank so I mostly pick my heroes - mostly as solo tank as I don't see many people being happy to play as one, or switching from one seeing if there's another tank on the team, but I can play as Mantis as well to help supports. Tried Luna, but not really my pick tho I would go with her if we have solo Jeff for the combo. If nobody's healing ofc I would go with one, but in ranked I mostly notice lack of tanks and at the very least one strategist is always here.

I mean it would be awkward for me to be in a match with no strategists, since I main one, if we already have 2/3 healers then I don't mind goin tank/dps tho

Now if we have 5 dps players and lil ol me then we will have 6 dps players cuz I'm not busting my arse for nothing

I'm a support main mostly but when I get tired of it and decide to tank and nobody flexes to heals then its kinda funny for me. "idc if we lose and I ain't switching so yall figure it out." lol

Depends on my mood.

Sometimes I play competitive just so I don't have to deal with bots and I want to play to have fun. That's when I ignore the fact that there are no healers. Screw my ranking, it doesn't matter to me.

Other times I play to win and I will last pick a healer if I need to. Or if an enemy team is annoying enough that I don't want them to have an easy win, I will switch to healer. Or on those days where my aim is absolutely godawful, then I'll be the team's healer for that day.

Quick Match, honestly, play what you want. For ranked, it's important to have 2-3 healers with at least 1 who can consistently heal in high doses (Cloak & Dagger, Luna Snow, Jeff, Invisible Woman, Mantis) regardless of rank. Two can be strong, especially in a triple Strategist team, but don't try to force triple, as off healers and hybrids like Loki, Rocket, and Adam can be better with one main healer in the right hands as three random healers.
