Character not Loading in until about 40 seconds in Game

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a new alienware desktop and not issues running other games. I find I get stuck at 99% until game starts, then everygame or when I change character theres a delay to loading in character so Im moving around with essentially just a cross hair.

This happens to me virtually every game. I've had buddies also with the same issue as well and even just not loading in at all and then getting kicked and penalized.

if it happens in the start of the match or after you just died and loaded back, try pressing H and select the same character again, it usually loads it, if not quickly select an other one and press H again and select the one you wanted to play with. Im playing very low spec and it fixed for me

I have the same issue. In competitive no player models will load in at the start. I typically have to die, switch to another character, then switch back in order for everything to load.

Same with me. Hard to play when I can't see my character or any of the enemies.

Also happens to me. I won't get in the match until maybe 2 minutes after, sometimes I will even be at the "objective" screen for a bit after a win or a loss. Game is def not optimized for PC yet.

I switched to my main c drive from external and fixed all my issues. Game is not optimized for external.

One thing ppl can try regardless of the drive it's on is swapping heroes in spawn till their model appears.

Only solution is a VPN if the SSD thing isn't your issue. Only Cloudflare WARP "fixed" this for me but I get more ping now :(
