Wolverine has the LOWEST damage in the game

His attack deals 18 damage, when all other characters always have 40+, even when Wolverine is enraged, his damage will only rise to 30. And I'm only talking about close combat now, if you take ranged combat, then everything is really bad for Wolverine.

Someone was going around saying his damage is percentage based and that he is best used to harass tanks, but ive tried playing around with him and its not much better.

Yes, it does more damage to tanks, it does 27 damage to venom, that's still lower than ANY melee attack in the game

Yeah, they messed up a bit with him, hope he gets a good rebalance. Also why does he not have autoregeneration? The hero famously known for his regeneration ability.

Regarding his DMG, I even looked up the way you are supposed to play him. His abilities do Max HP Percent dmg, so it is stronger against Tanks. So basically, the idea is to move close to the enemy Tank and then leap-grab the tank away from his team and then maul him down.

That being said, I never encountered a good wolverine player in any match i played.

He certainly does more damage to tanks, but still less than any other character in the game.

Nobody except die-hard Logan fans are going to stick with him long enough to get good at him. He's just not worth getting good at right now because he really is just that bad. I run circles around him with Jeff, Dagger, Rocket, etc. and he's actually easy pickings when he tries to dive me in the backline.

Wolverine would benefit just from a normal sprint to be able to stick to that harassment doctrine.

Another problem is his hit box, it's the size of the universe, it's literally a little smaller than Hulk or Venom.

Wolverine just needs to be a little faster on his feet and maybe an extra 5 damage and 30-50hp

Yes but after he jumps someone his attack rate goes nuts. So it is not about just dmg, but is damage per second. Also his dmg goes up with his rage mechanic as well.

But the point is, you're supposed to pounce the enemy tank, AWAY, from his team into yours or just by itself. Plus with your increased attack speed, you're easily out damaging any other character. I love playing him as a tank buster, it eliminates the need for other people to just sit there, plinking away at the tank. If you want to just DPS, you're going to have to play like Black Panther and dive in an out of fights, otherwise you get melted.

Maybe he should be a vanguard.
