for as poppin as this game is, the queue times sure are long for ranked

how many of you guys are playing ranked? just curious.

1. Ranked having more complex matchmaking.
2. Most people still playing this game as casuals.
3. Not everyone reached lvl 10.
Personally - I don't really care about ranked, I'm out of age of taking the games as serious as I was before.
Just playing for funsies while I have it, and then heading off doing more important stuff...

Nobody plays ranked. Nobody cares about ranked. People dont want to admit it.

Less than 10% of OW2 playerbase plays ranked and im sure the same will be true of this game. There is a reason why you see the exact same people almost every single ranked game.

yeah but ow2 killed its competitive scene if you remember the history of the game that makes sense.

I am playing Ranked but the degrading rank in Bronze from loss streaks is devastating. fed up of everyone going Duelist and then the Duelists failing to kill anything and leaving me as the only healer.

I just want to hit gold so I can get the skin.

I've been playing it but the devs went full mental throwing everyone automatically into bronze 3 (lowest rank) so climbing right now it's a serious hit or miss unless you can hard carry every game. I also feel that if you do well one match the MM then starts putting you against tougher opponents and giving you worst teammates. I made it up to 78 in bronze 3 once and have hard fallen to 30. It's insanely stupid.

you might just be bad. i mean no offense by this. i've had no issue carrying my games through bronze, silver, and gold. i find most players dont have an understanding of basic concepts in hero shooters and are not very good.

i think its just a bug, sometimes the queue is fast sometimes its a few minutes.

I am currently Diamond 3 in new season. Finished last season GM1. I just had a no ♥♥♥♥ 20 minute queue before I got a comp game. CONTEXT: I am only queued into Oregon servers because I live in Japan. Anything farther east I would have too much ping.

Update: Just had a 11 minute queue. 01/12/25 9:50 JST
