High ram usage
Is this game supposed to be using a huge amount of ram? Mine is using something like 7-8 gb of ram. I know it isn't because of insufficient vram, because my gpu's vram never seems to hit max, but regular ram is getting really close.

Oh good, so it's not just me. Here I was thinking I might have to buy more ram or something. Phew.

Cheap Brands cause power fluctuations within your power supply thus forcing a memory corruption leak which causes you to have high ram or crash.

The specs are not the problem, Quality wise might be your brands.

ChatGPT Translation:
Cheap or low-quality components, beyond just the power supply, can lead to system instability or performance issues:

1. **RAM**: Poor-quality RAM can cause memory errors, crashes, or system instability, especially under high loads or overclocking. Lack of proper testing or heat dissipation can worsen this.

2. **Video Card**: Cheap GPUs may overheat, throttle performance, or fail prematurely due to poor cooling, subpar VRAM, or weak power delivery systems.

3. **Motherboard**: Low-end motherboards often lack proper voltage regulation and quality capacitors, leading to power instability, limited lifespan, and poor support for high-performance components.

4. **SSD (M.2)**: Budget SSDs may use lower-grade NAND and controllers, resulting in slower speeds, higher failure rates, and data corruption over time.

Investing in mid-range or reputable brands ensures stability, performance, and longevity while reducing the risk of power fluctuations, memory leaks, or system crashes.

P.S. Remember Hauncho, You Crash or have problems with muiltiple games, You can keep blaming the devs, but we all know the real issues here.

Until I patched up yesterday I could play and stream with no issues. I can no longer stream due to memory leak.
Corsair Vengeance 32Gb DDR4 ram, Gigabyte Vision 3070ti GPU and i7 11700k 11th Gen

Just in the menu or replaying a previous match uses 13k mb of ram.

Guess I will have to wait for another patch/fix.

I have 64gigs of ram. So far it's been holding at about 10gigs after several games.

Same here
Anyone know if the update for season 1 fixes the high memory use

imagine thinking 8gb ram is high in 2024.

Piss off dev apologist.

8gb is ancient dude, at this point even 16gb is barely cutting it now, since several years now 32gb is a standard amount, you can get 32gb ddr4 for like 60-70$ and DDR5 32gb for around 100$ - it's not an expensive upgrade.

That's hardly the point. The game has a memory leak that needs to be fixed. Also, I never said 8gb is how much I have, 8 gb is how much the game is taking up.

This is a first lmao, low-quality components? You're trolling right?

Just played my first game of the season and I'm glad I hadn't started a ranked game cause 5 minutes in the game became a powerpoint presentation. How a game can run this ass is beyond me.
