i cant because i don't have a good driver can i get something to fix this or do i just not play

I assume this relates to the graphics API compatibility your card has.

You need to give the full error message for people to be able to help you.

"DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument" i don't have dx12 or d3d12 enabled

Have you tried launching with "-dx11" in the Steam launch options?
