Jeff Ult Nerf Board
Alright folks, we all know the jeff ult needs a nerf. These quad kills from just jumping off map clearly aint intended. So like intelligent folk, lets discuss possible changes for the ult

The slowdown is the smartest change I think. Tweak the size of of it, slow it down based on how many he has. I also thought you could maybe up it's damage a tad while lowering it's duration as another tradeoff, but I think just making it harder to get to the edge of the map makes a lot of sense. The Ult is clearly meant to be about area denial and disrupting players, not genuinely funny team wipes lol

Jeff can randomly sneak an entire team, eat 4-5 people, while leaving 1-2 people to have to try to kill him, with his entire team defending him. i get you really like the jeff ult, but have some sense. Also his damage isnt even that good? If you hit your shots, with a luna teamup, jeff 2-3 shots most dps, and the slow factor from the luna teamup is amazing. You gotta be off your rocker homie.

Oh I misread. Well, the range, let's see... It's wide alright, and can catch people unsuspected but remember how the Ult itself works. The range won't really matter if you spread out. Sure it will catch atleast 1 or 2 but: there's the voice line of the ult, then there's 1-2 seconds before the player is able to trigger the devour move and then you have another 1-2 second window to dash out.

Ah yes, I do know that but most of the games, the DPS and Healers aren't gonna be standing still duck; they're gonna be moving, dodging and getting healed. The firerate is slow enough to let most healers restore theirs and their ally HP.

I will be honest with you, I play Rocket more than Jeff, despite both being my mains, you however will see that once you understand how to play him and how you play against him, you will notice how easily the Ult can be dispatched and the range is really just there to secure a character with no movement really. And you know well it's not every match you see getting a quad from the shark Ult.

Yep, make him slower based on how many hostiles hes eaten, and it wouldnt be bad to make it where hes still normal speed if he just has allies eaten

I'm not surprised. This is how these people are. All they know how to do is insult people all day and abuse report systems when people have legitimate gripes.

The smart thing to do is for everyone to abuse the mechanic until it gets nerfed. Unfortunately they won't listen otherwise, we know because of all other games.

Both payload and domination require teams to be on point. If someone does the Jeff ult fast enough they can't react. It's completely broken.
You only need 1 person on point, not the entire team. You can leave 1 person on point (support is fine taking this role if you have 2 supports).

Yes, reduce the area of the pool by 35%. A jeff should have to actually use their brain to get people in the pool, not just hold w press left click and get an entire team.

1 person on point LOL. 99% of games will never win a game like that successfully unless they're all 2 tiers higher / the teams are completely unbalanced, and wiping their enemy at spawn.
And you'd be wrong.

If you're winning the game why do you need 5 other players on point when the team should be pushing forward?

That is literally Hero Shooters 101.

Yeah bud that isn't always an option, and the area is so massive quite a few characters literally can't get away, like groot. How about you be reasonable, realize the area is WAY too big, and agree to a small reduction of the range. or maybe a compromise? like maybe jeff can't choose when to swallow people and instead it's on a 2-3 second timer where he has to plan to swallow people. both of those would be good choices.

Gee, what do both of those characters have in common? OHHH YEAH insane mobility! something some tanks and supports don't HAVE. The area is WAY too big. And I have to say; as a teammate of a jeff, I am really annoyed when he swallows all of us. it needs to be reduced in size, that's the final word.

Skill issue. It's super audible when he activates his ult like everyone else, everyone has some sort of movement ability, spread out when you hear it. I always callout over mic to split up when he activates it.

Again it boils down to skill issue.

If you see enemy team have a Jeff DO NOT GROUP UP STAY SPREAD OUT.

Doing that Jeff would likely get 2 people MAX instead of the entire team.

Start reacting before the ult becomes a thing, that will increase your chance of not having to worry about Jeff.
