Game stuck at 99% for minutes

For some reason my game when loading in gets stuck at 99% and wont load until like several minutes into the game which then makes my team mad and me frustrated. Is there any way for me to fix this or do I just have to wait for them to maybe release a patch fix? is this a problem for anyone else?

It's a well known issue with no fix that i've been able to find by googling. It did just max out my ram somehow.. if that's any indicator. and i have 24gb of ram. so that's not supposed to happen.

same thing happens to me!!! i load into the practice range relatively fine but if i load into a match it loads for so long i get kicked for inactivity. the game is unplayable for me

They need to patch this soon. I want to play but I cant if I spend 3+ min at a load screen each match.

idk if this is relevant to your case or not. But I know some games will be stuck at 99% if you are using an HDD.

I've said this before in another, similar post.

But for me personally, the issue was that I had this game installed on my SSD. Once I moved it to my C: drive (HDD) it started loading like it should have from the start.

Maybe try that if it's not already on there?

It’s still doing it. Once you get into the game none of the characters are loaded but you can hear everyone fighting. If you have to buy and install an SSD just to play a free Chinese game it’s not worth it. That’s a red flag for sure. Just goes to show how poorly optimized the game is. And what to expect going forward from this CCP owned developer.
