Freezing/Crashing potential fix

I was having random crashing/freezing after playing a few games, and if I managed to rejoin before I was replaced it would just crash again instantly after selecting a character. Eventually I would get into my next match and it would work again, until it didn't. At first I thought it was random, but then realized it's happening specifically on the 'Klyntar, Symbiotic Surface' map. It'll be fine until I get to that map, and then I can't load in at all. It may happen on other maps as well, but I know I can reproduce it on Klyntar every time just by going into a custom game alone.

I tried the below that other people have said fixed, or temporarily fixed, this. None worked for me.

Change DLSS to TAAU or other.

Disable Low Latency Mode (Reflex)

Limit FPS.

Rollback GPU driver.

Rollback Windows (11 for me) to previous build.

Update GPU driver.

Update Windows.

Disable/change 'Lumen' settings.

I found setting the preset graphics setting to 'Low' fixed it. I then went through each setting turning them up one at a time until I landed on 'texture detail' being the issue. It doesn't matter what anything else is set to. If 'Texture Detail' is set to anything but 'Low' I crash instantly on Klyntar. Everything Low, but Texture Detail Medium? Instant crash. Everything Ultra, but Texture Detail Low? Runs completely fine.

Anyway, I reported this to them, and hope this helps at least one other frustrated person (:

Thanks so much for this. I was crashing on Klyntar in comp and almost threw my team's game until I found this post. Switched to Low and we ended up winning. Keeping it there until they fix this. Hope it's soon!

Same here, but even Texture Detail doesnt work. I have EVERYTHING on lowest settings possible, but it still crashing. Only this map, rest is running perfectly even on medium-high settings

Some people said additionally turning off vsync helped. Might be worth trying.

So strange for me. it worked fine for days and it suddenly started freezing. I.e. the character selection won't appear and freezes instead. Even sometimes right when starting the game after the Marvel logo right at the beginning. Thankfully it has never frozen mid-match so if I hurry I can still restart and rejoin.
