I can tell you're genuinely interested in playing as a gay character, so don't worry, the game just came out and the Marvel universe is full of them; it wouldn't surprise me to see Ice Man or America Chavez added to the roster.

Listen my friend, its time that Marvel and other IPs quit messaging and started storytelling like they used to, that's what we should care about. There is no reason you cannot look up to a character who isn't your race, gender, etc. So, I ask that you stop looking for privilege and simply be happy with what you have

I ignored the hate, bought and played Concord. Visuals were nice, ran smooth, gameplay felt unique and so did the maps. Save for the bug swarm weapon and rocketeer, nothing really felt overpowered. Incredible backstory and a solid soundtrack with promise of free characters, modes, skins and maps on the way. As someone who has played Hero Shooters since the N64 and Shadowrun on the 360, Concord just felt like it fit. Wasn't overpriced and was just plain fun. Not gonna lie I genuinely hate that I'll never be able to play it again.

Meanwhile Marvel Rivals just feels like a glorified mobile game. Not hating it, but it definitely feels barebones. But ay, it's free so I have no room to complain.

Marvel has always been woke. It was founded on woke. You certainly need to go read some of Stan's Soapboxes, because you clearly have no idea what Marvel is and was about. From its inception it was about fighting for minorities, women and the oppressed. The idea you think you were EVER aligned with Stan and Marvel is laughable.
