Will this game ever get DX12_1 support?
Will this game ever get DX12_1 support? Or it will it forever be locked to DX12_2 (aka DX12 Ultimate)? My machine's not built for gaming but it runs Overwatch 2 at a steady 70-90 fps so I was assuming this game would function about the same. Disappointed to find out it was locked to DX12_2.

Yeah, I think this has something to do with why it runs so horrendously on my old PC whereas overwatch runs smooth at 120fps
marvel uses unreal 5 engine, i dont think ow2 uses unreal 5.

Do you think there's a chance of NetEase bringing DX12_1 support?

Such a shame when I found out. Had the game pre-loaded and everything

DX12_2 is not a requirement per minspec since neither RX580 nor GTX1060 support this Feature Level.

It keeps giveing me this when I try to play, what does it mean: DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument.

Iris Xe core does not actually fully support even DX12_1, specifically missing 64bit atomics from Shader Model 6.6.
This is used by Lumen and Nanite in Unreal Engine 5, so no game that has this tech will run on those GPUs unless a backward compatibility layer (DX11) is supported (which is the case for Fortnite for example).
OK, thanks for your reply. I didn't know that. Do you think there's a chance that this will ever come to Marvel Rivals?

Lowspec is where the market is for these types of games, so the minspec for this one is quite bizarre to say the least.

So you're saying.... there's a chance?

If im not mistaken the alpha/beta did let you play on DX11, so it may be in the works

You've given me hope... I don't even care I have to play on minimum settings at 40fps, at least until I can save up for a better machine

inb4 it was on Unreal Engine 4.

Happened to Bellwright to the point where their official minspec was still listing Windows 7 in minspec up till i brought it up to the devs :3
