any difference between logging in on different clients? Steam vs Epic

What happens if i login on epic games,then decide to switch to steam ? does my stats come over? or is it better in general to just make a netease account?

I have a similar situation. I created a Net Ease account and started playing on it. Today I decided to switch to Steam and could not find any way to link/bind two accounts (although some other games from this publisher have such functionality).
The most unpleasant thing is that I cannot use the same nickmane in game. Okay, then I decided to delete the NE account - I did it, but the nickname is still taken. Now I can’t even write to support, since this must be done through their account.

Why would you even need to switch between two PC launchers?? There is no scenario in which you would have to use one but not the other.

epic is doing a thing where if you play rivals for 10 matches on epic launcher you get a glider in fortnite. well I want the free glider so I un-installed off steam and installed on epic and even with my steam and epic accounts linked there is no way for me to login with my rivals account I made through steam.

not a big deal for me since I didn't really have anything unlocked yet but it'd be nice to be able to have my nickname back as I use the same username for everything

Unless you have a situation like today where Steam is down and now you can't play the game at all because of a client issue. And you can't switch to Net Ease or Epic Games Launcher. I understand not being able to share same account between console and pc (kind of, still think that's dumb too), but why the hell can't we play our same marvel rivals account with any client we want on PC?

Perhaps the very niche moment when Steam does updates on Tuesday, you could play on Epic to avoid losing connection? If that's true, it's dedication haha

Currently i can't get the game to launch at all on steam and the only way i can get it to work is through epic. so that's one reason to switch launchers.
