I don't understand this game's currency model

Hi! So I'd appreciate it if someone can explain how all this works. I assume the gold currency is the one you exclusively get through purchases. So that leaves us with a purple currency and a blue currency.

So far, I haven't played too many matches, but in all of them I only get purple currency. I see it in the battle pass, but all I can really buy from there is the icons. Skins require me to purchase the battle pass. So, I just can't buy skins in the battle pass?

Also, for the time that I've played, I've never gotten a single point of blue currency. Assuming that one isn't only purchasable (since then the game would have 2 premium currencies and that's just weird), how do you get it? I see that everything in the shop is bought with the blue currency.

P.S. What's with the constant "CLAIM NOW!" pop ups with purple currency after a match? Am I supposed to click somewhere to claim them or do the automatically get claimed? If it's the latter then why the "CLAIM NOW!" text and not something like "YOU GOT" or "REWARD"? If I am supposed to claim it, how do I do that? I've tried everything.

This game just leaves me with more questions than answers a lot of the time.

Purple is Battle Pass currency, you'll most likely have to buy the BP to get the skins and you get Purple through missions. Blue is earned through missions and achievements. I don't know why the "Claim Now" thing pops up after a match, it's automatically earned, the only time you have to claim stuff is from Achievement rewards.

Well to be completely accurate, you can get everything with units, (Blue squares) but it's a grind or you can use lattice (Gold Hexagon} shaped currency to unlocked it right away and from what it seems, you can use both. So if you're short on Units, you can then pay the remaining with the premium lattice currency.

The battlepass uses Chrono tokens (Purple Hexagon) shaped currency and you get to choose what you want to unlock as opposed to other battle passes where things just are unlocked by level. However, you have to unlock so many before you can progress to the next section and it'll tell you how many you need to progress, but you can pick rewards you want right away. I will add, doing the event missions will give you Units, the blue currency.
