you pick jeff, venom, and a combination of scarlet witch/punisher/bucky or else you lose.

i'm a meta abuser so just knowing which characters are objectively better than others makes it easy to climb but it makes for a very stale gameplay experience.

Yeah i got real annoyed constantly going up against Psylocke 24/7 so to counter it i have decided to get good at punishers shotgun

It's quite effective

Awesome. You can also counter with Squirrel Girl 2 shot, but you need 2 direct hits to delete her.

It's not all that hard to hit honestly, i saw a video earlier yesterday about something complaining that the punisher has low dps but when i was watching him shoot he'd miss 80% of the mag.... Like bro if you hit shots it actually = more damage xD

But nah i think the gun is pretty easy to hit even with direct hits, the only character i find rather annoying to shoot is jeff (when he dives) because his hitbox is smaller

I've been playing nothing but Rocket and I feel he is insanely strong, especially if playing defense for payload. That said I would not be opposed to reducing the damage falloff on his primary fire and letting his alternate fire have some way of burst healing; maybe by holding down the fire key and using more charges.

Rocket has better heals than Jeff, but Jeff has the better Ult and better normal attack. The armor packs need a buff.

Problem is that right now most melee characters have to really over invest to get the same damage that punishers AR can do just by holding first click, I went 18-2 on my first game with 27FPS just because I know how to click heads, and everyone has big heads.

The most dominant meta in Overwatch history, GOATS, was comprised of nothing but the "low skill" characters Brig, Lucio, Moira, Reinhardt, Zarya and Dva.

"Low skill" doesn't make them weak, you're the same guy who thinks flashy martial arts moves are stronger than the basics.

Yeah, low skilled characters were part of it but it does not mean that other characters won't be directly stronger. I'm not saying this could not happen but it's obviously going to be the first impression because high ceiling character will require time to pop. GOATS came after many years of Overwatch released also (Because AoE Heals, speclifically). I'm not saying this could not happen, I'm saying that it's too early to tell since low skill character will get their full potential earlier lol. It's not that difficult, it's basics of game design.

This is like saying Barbarian is strong in DnD because his first 5 levels makes him a beast while level 15 fighter just dominates most melee classes in DnD. You guys are level 3 and saying that a level 3 Jeff is the strongest thing in the world. You still have 17 levels to go so relax, there will be time for that.

I love Mantis. Her design is well done, her abilities are nice, and fits that standard healer role for players that don't want to play a more technical character.

Luna needs her ult duration reduced though, it's essentially the same as Mantis's ult but lasts way longer and has a DPS buffing option (which you would think Mantis would heal and give damage buff to allies with hers, seeing as she is the buffer).
