Time Limited Specific Rank Exclusive Rewards Is Disgusting

So they're going to be giving an exclusive skin every season if you reach a specific rank, this season it's Gold+
The skin is a black and gold costume for Moon Knight.

Honestly I find this disgusting. Locking an exclusive reward away only for people that are able to grind out ranked and get that high within the time limit.
In a game with a godawful matchmaker and it being up to complete chance whether you get competent people on your team, or people who play like they are brand new to games in general.

I've been stuck in Bronze 3, the starting rank, for a long time now because I keep getting people on my team that have zero clue what they're doing. I will lose 7 in a row, win 1, lose 3 in a row, win 1, lose 4 in a row...

I find this completely unfair, and as much as people hate it being brought up, I think what Overwatch does is way more fair.
Playing ranked gets you ranked currency, which after getting enough you can spend on ranked specific cosmetics. Sure they're just stupid gold and jade guns, but that system is way more fair and doesn't demand that the user be very skilled and be willing to grind through horrific matches in the hope that they are lucky and skilled enough to rise in rank high enough to get the reward.

I for one will literally never get anywhere near Gold this season no matter how hard I try, what I do, how much effort I put in or how much I grind. It's not fair at all.

Considering that they're giving it for getting up to a specific rank, I assume that rank will reset each season, requiring you to grind back up to that rank AGAIN every single season to get the reward.

This should be changed. Not just for me but for everyone. It's a bad and unfair system.

If you cannot make it to gold in 90 days (for S1).... that's definitely a skill issue and you do not deserve the reward. I made it to gold in S0 in 2 days (idk the actual play hours... probably like 5 or 6?). Imagine how much a bummer it would be for players who actually treat comp for what it is if everybody was handed a participation trophy that was meant to celebrate a milestone... would feel bad man. Stop whining and get grinding.

lol imagine not being able to reach gold, and blaming EVERY team you had? bro its you. you are just bad. gold is ez to reach even as a solo Q. Or idk... stop being an incel and actually make friends and form a small squad. 3 people should be enough to give you a major edge. If you are child who doesnt know how to meet people and form a team, try going on twitch and saying hi to ppl streaming who want team mates. Or you know, go back to kindergarten so they can teach you how to talk to people.

Guess what? I have no friends that play this game. So my only option is solo q where NOBODY coordinates and nobody has any clue what to do and nobody cares.
