Dr Strange's portals break the game

I really enjoy this game but every time I see a Dr Strange in either team I want to DC because when he opens his portals it just breaks my game and lags out so bad people think im AFK-ing, had someone try and get a whole lobby to report me because it looked like I was AFK in a competitive match.

Please can we either get a hot fix for this or temporarily disable Dr Strange until the issue is fixed!

Weird, I was in 2 games with him on my team and the game was quite smooth still.

Yep, as soon as he ults my textures becoming extremely low-res, and the only way to fix it is to restart the game

Only happens to some people and you have to look into the fixes already posted about it. We can't fix your game for you and neither can the devs because it's a your system problem. The portals essentially creates another copy of the level and your system needs to be able to handle this. Sadly the tech used to generate the portals is more advanced than some people's systems, which means time to update.

LOL, my system meets the requirements the devs recommend and im playing on lowest graphics so its not a "your system problem" - side-note: you need to work on your extremely and unnecessarily condescending tone :)

That would be you, since I was informative while you're aggressive. I wasn't talking about getting new hardware. Simply launching the game with an intel processor warns about a BIOS problem in need of an update. Day one drivers were released by NVIDIA to combat issues with handling the game's calls. Unreal Engine 5 itself is very taxing and demanding on old systems as it uses brand new tech. You say your system is great and yet I haven't crashed once or experienced any issues due to Doctor Strange's portals. Because my system is up to date. Two users, two different experiences, two different setups.

Ah, I see that your superiority stifles your ability to recognise your own ignorance and condescending tone so I since you took the time to highlight aspects of the games workings possibly contributing to the game's issues I shall take the time to highlight the issues in your tone and delivery of the aforementioned information. "We can't fix your game for you and neither can the devs", "Sadly the tech used to generate the portals is more advanced than some people's systems, which means time to update." These are both prime examples of an unnecessarily condescending tone, I hope this clears it up for you :)

Issues with the game have already come up with regards to crashing due to intel chips and the solution for them hasn't been to reinvent the game... but to correct the software users are using to run their hardware... which is due to, like I was saying, the user's system.

Additionally, another user just 10 minutes ago said updating to Windows 11 solved their issues. I too run on Windows 11.

Neither of my statements are an example of condescension, you simply have a massive ego and took my information regarding due diligence to be a challenge to your superiority as a gamer. You want the game to fix the issue that you have to fix yourself and hate anyone who tells you it's a problem on your end. I hope this clears it up for YOU.

Yep portals drop my fps too while otherwise it runs smooth on Ultra with DLSS on Quality.

No game with 20+ characters should work perfectly fine with all but one character for any user. It's the game's fault. If 19/20 characters work on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PCs, the 1/20 should also work on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PCs. Having exactly 1 character that requires a non-♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC is bad design.
