Balance Needed for Melee.
Why can characters like hella 2 shot head shot / 3 shot body shot 250hp characters like magik without using any of their cooldowns but characters like magik have to use their full kit to get a single kill.

Oh and hella has more HP than Magik as well.

Yeah risk to reward is joke on melee i go full combo with wolverine breaking my ass outplaying and ♥♥♥♥ only to get 2 kill max lol i mean i can snipe backline with hawkeye 2 arrows to the head ur dead ez, game needs balancing asap

Melee ruins this game. It makes it seem like anyone playing melee is an annoyance and being rude to the other players trying to actually have fun with the game.

It is sadly no better than wm1 pyro all over again. Oh great melee on me. Well I have to aim for the head, hit every shot while they are on me swerving around, utilize my cooldowns but they have some for some reason to just stay on me. Oop dead because they held the mouse button down, had me at least in their general frontal view, and stayed mostly close to me and that did more damage than I can put out to save myself.

Really. It feels like just someone is being rude and disrupting the game and being annoying and ruining a fun flow to it. I am very sure *everyone* is tired of Iron First. Or Wolverine and only the hardcore melee players will really defend it. The way melee is set and integrated within the game's mechanics just do not fit well with any ranged or tank character.

Team balance wise. Great our melee ran off again and we are constantly down two people because I need to stay on point and heal others. Or fantastic melee is targeting me every round and no matter what I do I cannot down their health bar faster than they can press forward and hold mouse one. Almost kil oops now they suddenly have armor and there is no way I can kill them solo in an engagement.

This game will either have to change melee to fit and require some modicum of skill and balance to not just ruin the game for others but make it actually fun to play and to fight against. It will kill this game eventually if the dominant power is to just push yourself as fast into someone and hold a button down.

Melee were most likely made with fighting games in mind. It would be really boring if you needed to press jab 300 times. Different skill sets required between different types of characters. Melee generally gets iframes, mobility, health or a mixture of all three to compensate, they also can bypass some mechanics that ranged cannot. If maps had more cover it should certainly favor melee more, something the devs can look into regarding balance.

There's literally 0 advantage to melee, doesn't matter if the map has more cover, you get to melee range to be surrounded by enemies and do less than every single one of them with barely more survivability if not less than them while the healers all can out heal your damage with the slightest awareness. Pretty much every game I've seen has been doing this ♥♥♥♥ though making melee completely useless, even dumb twitch shooters nowadays have a melee button that just deals less than continuing to use your ranged weapon so the use case is when in the range, when the enemy is low enough to finish in one hit, and when you are out of ammo, that's it, all 3 combined needed, when they used to one hit, but this game also has that useless melee button on every character, but some actually can melee weave for even more DPS, when their ranged weapons already do more than the melee characters, who have no use of the melee button besides Magik really.
is this a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ double necro? lol
